Steps were taken to investigate alleged corruption, management options, such as individual state-mandated rehabilitation plans and cost-cutting measures. Empirical evidence will be provided to support the authors' arguments. Steps Related to Legal/Regulatory Issue One of the nurse leader's duties is to ensure that nurses adhere to nursing practice standards. Once a nurse is accused of diverting drugs or being under the influence, the nurse leader will examine and record substance abuse activities in nurses. Poor grooming, inappropriate behavior, mood swings, and loneliness are all common behavioral symptoms. Documenting these habits in a timely and objective manner is critical to detecting them.
