Form and join the company, leaving registration open. Although language in Capsim states contact your professor, this is not required. 4. Complete the situation analysis. This provides your first opportunity to see how the team will work together. At the same time, the exercise will familiarize you with the important concepts, with reports/data in Capsim, and with navigating the web site. The situation analysis is not submitted anywhere. 5. Assign/select team roles. These should be considered preliminary assignments. After completing the practice rounds, be open to reassignments. Refer to the information in the Capsim Step by Step document on team roles. 6. Draft your team contact. Consider term end dates, work schedules, how the team will meet, frequency, and fully address how problems and conflicts will be resolved.
