Summary of Foreigners in their Own Land Film Introduction The documentary film “Foreigners in their Land” is about nationality, class, race citizenship and transformationalism lenses that are d... epicted with much openness in six different eras. Thus, the film in its entirety ignores the issue of homophobia, heterosexism, and sexism. Episode 1 Foreigners in Their Land (1565-1880) present a broad sweep with much focus between 1492 and 1848 as more appropriate. Here, the colonial era of Spain incorporates the presence of Spanish in 25 states, currently known as U.S.A as well as its critical civil settlements.
