MEMO TO: All Employees FROM: Lucy Abdi, CEO SUBJECT: Employee Reward for new transition DATE: July 12, 2021 I am giving the upmost appreciation to everyone that was involved i... n the transition from sit-in set up to take out in the restaurant. Since the new form of selling was introduced in the restaurant, we have experienced more sales and the restaurant is doing better than before. Despite of this, the work flow has increased and everyone has shown continued efforts in making sure that everything is running smoothly in the restaurant. Due to this, I am happy to announce that all employees will enjoy benefits such as bonuses, extended leaves, good annual reports, discounts of food from the restaurant and added commissions on prepared orders depending on departments. At the end of July, all employees will receive a bonus of 100 dollars each and this is from the increased sales we have collected since the introduction of take out. All members should not that the money will be paid on cash basis through the office of the accountant at the end of the month. The date of collection will be effectively communicated in due time. Due to excess work overload, chefs and waiters have been working extensively and other dedicating more hours to make sure that all food is prepared in due time. Due to this, all chefs and waiters will be enjoying extended leave days. On top of their annual 30-day leave, they will receive an extra week which can be applied anytime one is ready. However, before taking the leave days, they should laisse with the human resource and the administrator for proper scheduling. We have instructed the human resource to create good annual reports for all employees. The reports will reflect on the positive impacts that each employee has contributed in making the restaurant a success. The reports will be an asset for each employee as it will improve the quality of their resume in the future. Apart from that, all employees will enjoy up to 40% discount on all meals from the restaurant. It should also be noted the 40% is only applicable for take-out only and not sit-in. Apart from that, any employee that has a birthday will receive a free dinner date for two. Therefore, they should communicate with the senior chef prior for easy planning and execution. For the new delivery team that has been added will enjoy commissions on prepared orders. They should however note that the orders should be more than seven for them to enjoy the commissions. The commissions will be stated at 5% for all orders. For any clarification on the following information, you can book an appointment with me any day of the week.
