The quality of a business's internal communication often says a lot about the company itself. One of the most well known and popular CRM solutions, Salesforce has been around for 15 years, with products that serve the sales and marketing functions of a business. Features include mobile access, analytics, contact management, forecasting, and opportunity management (www.blog.capterra.com). There are a few established reasons why our organization should implement a new CRM strategy. For one, we do not have a clear view of each customer relationship in one application which includes a customers order history, and this is a barrier to identifying new selling opportunities. Another reason for implementing a new CRM strategy is that data is stored in different places which prevents anyone from seeing the full picture. It results in poor communication and weak service when customers can not be easily identified and pertinent information isn't readily available. Companies need their critical workforces to perform smarter, faster and more productively. This new system needs to be able to do more than just make it easier for employees to share knowledge and communicate. Collaboration technologies must help shape how work is performed and enable teamwork that leads to better results, greater innovation and higher productivity.
