Disparities Identified Within the Healthy People 2020 Healthy People 2020, an agency in the United States (US) government, utilizes scientific evidence to promote health, disease prevention, and wel... lness within America's diverse populations (Healthy People.gov., 2020). Healthy People track various populations' health outcomes within a decade to modify or improve plans for effective results (Health People.gov). Moreover, health disparities are reasons of concern because it affects health care costs. Further, the disparities could be related to race, demographic, healthcare coverage, gender, or socialeconomic status, to name a few (Healthy People gov, 2020). Artiga et al. (2020) informed that health care disparities affect the population affected and health care cost plus limit overall quality in health care services. In this document, tools to assist in treatment gaps in health care are a screening tool to identify health care barriers, administration, and resources to coordinate and solve the problem, and the device practical for a clinical setting: why and why not? Tools to Assist in Treatment Gaps Healthy People.gov (2020) provides various tools and methods to assist in health care education, needs, resources, and data via online interaction. There are webinars, e-learning, case studies, presentations, and health information events to achieve objectives in the Healthy People 2020's plan (Healthy People. gov., 2020). One such tool is the MAP-IT framework to help mobilize partners in the community, assess needs, create a plan, implement it, and track the community's progress (Healthy People. gov., 2020).
