The work function of aluminium is 4.1 eV. (i) Calculate the maximum kinetic energy KEmax in joules (J) of the photoelectrons emitted from the surface of the aluminium. KEmax = J [3] (ii) The intensity of the electromagnetic radiation falling on the aluminium plate is now decreased without changing its wavelength. State and explain the change, if any, to the maximum kinetic energy of the photoelectrons. ........................................................................................................................................... ........................................................................................................................................... ........................................................................................................................................... ......................................................................................................................................
