Introduction Through networking, a student can create a village of supporters for graduate school and post-graduation endeavors. Having a network of academic and professional supporters while compl... eting my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree is critical to my success as a student and beyond. For academic support, I have other nurse practitioners who have obtained MSN degrees and are currently working as Family Nurse Practitioners. I have also made online connections with my Walden University student advisor and the Walden Writing Center. The journey to obtaining an advanced nursing degree will be challenging. It is important to surround myself with resources and people who will keep me focused on making my dream of obtaining an advanced degree a reality.
