Implementation is a specified set of activities designed to put into practice an activity or program. Project Management is the application of knowledge, skills, and techniques to execute projects effectively and efficiently. Tailored message is any combination of information and behavior change strategies intended to reach one specific person or group based on characteristics unique to that person, related to the outcome of interest, and derived from an individual assessment. Targeted Message is intended to reach some specific subgroup of the general population, usually based on a set of demographic characteristics. Level 1 Reaction these evaluations measure participant satisfaction and may use a Likert scale (scale of items used to assess agreement or disagreement) and/or open-ended questions. Level 2 Learning these evaluations measure the amount of knowledge gained as a result of the learning activity Level 3 Behavior this evaluation measures the extent to which behavior change occurs. Level 4 Results this evaluation is most often used in workforce programs to measure the longer-range results that occurred due to participation in a training session. Competency 3.3 Implement Health Education/Promotion plan 5 Generic Phases of Program Implementation 1. Adopt the program 2. Identify and prioritize tasks to complete. 3. Establish a management system 4. Put the plans into action (e.g. Pilot or field testing, phasing, total implementation) 5. End or Sustain a program or intervention. 6 Components for Effective Public Health Program Implementation 1. Use innovation to develop the evidence base 2. use a limited number of high priority, evidence-based interventions. 3. Use effective program management 4. use partnerships and coalitions. 5.
