External recruitment gives the business a much wider choice of potential applicants (1) which means a candidate of higher quality could be recruited (1) leading to an increase in productivity (1). External recruitment will allow the business to hire workers who have different skills and experience (1) which may lead to changes in working practices (1) which could increase efficiency (1).
