What it needed was institutional will and managerial acumen to make an interpretation of its responsibilities into capable tasks, as exhibited by a terminate in a Texas refinery, spillage in an Alaskan pipeline, and, most as of late and shockingly, an explosion on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico killing 11 workers and resulting oil spillage that despoiled the southern U.S. coastline. In any case, since that occurrence BP had confronted a negative notoriety because of poor hazard analysis and safety procedure prompting oil spills, refinery impacts and perhaps falsifying information and price settling. 1.
