As a nurse leader, the organizational charts can be beneficial to help develop outlines for problem solving that can define responsibilities and expectations of each team or member within the organi... zation. This in turn promotes teamwork, collaboration and communication within the organization (Marquis, 2017). This is necessary in the implementation of change or clinical problem solving. The Nurse Leader plays an important role in identifying and solving issues identified and ensuring quality outcomes. Without clearly identified responsibilities and expected outcomes that can be addressed on the clinical chart, transition can be challenging and put the ability to reach and maintain higher health‐care quality standards by the team at risk.
