Alicia Barrysome is an eighteen year old Caucasian female who presents to the cl... inic with compliant of nervousness, fatigue, restlessness and sweating that started seven months ago. Alicia states that these symptoms arise whenever she has to take a test for school. Alicia states that she is currently taking two college courses which requires her to take at lease two test per week. Alicia also states that she becomes more hypervigilance whenever she has to take a big test like a midterm or a final exam. This causes her to exhibit a lack of concentration and racing thoughts that results in failure to pass her exams. Alicia is 5’4 feet tall and weights 175 lbs. Alicia is a non smoker and her vital signs are as follow B/P 138/88, T-97.9, R- 20, P- 72, pulse ox 98%. The only medication Alicia is currently taking is a birth control patch called Xulane that was prescribed by another Physician. After Reviewing Alicia's case and using specific guidelines Alicia was diagnosed with an Anxiety Disorder. [Show More]
