The world’s call to increase environmental, social, and resource sustainability by reducing carbon production has headed the United Kingdom to initiate a project for low carbon production through th... e use of hydrogen. Hydrogen is a renewable source of energy used in different industries. The Discovery of hydrogen and its benefits has posted promising resilient and stainable economic development in the UK and worldwide. European Commission has initiated policies that will help the countries in Europe to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions (Kakoulaki et al., 2021). Many nations, including the UK, have considered hydrogen has priority in achieving carbon neutrality by implementing it in energy systems. In addition, hydrogen is a flexible energy carrier for production industries and transport sectors. Kakoulaki et al. suggested the target for achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, broking the target into two phases, 2021 to 2030 and 2030 to 2050; breaking the goals into phases will help build the basement for the change, which includes installing renewable energy production plants (2021).
