Given an arithmetic equation or data conversion, develop an assembly-language algorithm to implement the correct sequence of operations. 2. Demonstrate how to design assembly-language programs that require decision logic in order to accomplish their tasks. Results: The commands for addition, multiplication, and division were used to manipulate specific registers to perform arithmetic calculations of given algebraic formulas. As expected the results matched external calculators. The shift register command using a count function was able to successfully count the number of ones in the binary number and then determine if the number was even or odd. Conclusions: Assembly language programming requires the use of the correct register based on the bit size of the data as well as the careful manipulation of the data within the registers to perform arithmetic operations to yield the correct results and store the results in the correct registers.
