She wants advice on an innovation strategy, which takes the key lessons from these successful firms. What would you offer? This small clothing manufacturer that is looking to mirror the same success of Zara and Benton would need to think about the changes that they would make for their entire business. This small clothing manufacturer would need to transform to a more efficient company that will have to adapt in being a more technological savvy company. The small clothing manufacturer will have take their business electronically and grow their operations if they want to be effective and successful. The small manufacturer company will need to think about what innovation will help drive success to its company. They would have to implement the advancement of technology today which can include creating a mobile app and a company website that will help them with the integration of online services with their consumers. Zara and Benton used technology to succeed and to meet the demand of reaching out to their consumers. The small clothing manufacturer must look into technology innovation to succeed due to so many customers who really don’t have the time to go out to stores and shop. Consumers today look into online shopping for their current needs and when you have a website this can make it easier for customers to view and purchase your items. As every new business an entrepreneur really have to take the radical risk of making a decision that will impact the customers and the business. Like making changes to be more transition and effective by using the technology advantages made available to the business. These changes have been very beneficial for all industries during the Neolithic Revolution which transformed and made agriculture a huge success even today and then the Industrial Revolution. The Industrial Revolution made it possible for manufacturing and dramatically changed the industry. The manufacturer can easily adapt changes to be successful. The company can incorporate international trade this can be a huge success since the company can save money and an increase in productivity. The company can also mirror Zara by producing clothes that will combine stylish designs that have a strong link to what the current high-fashion themes with moderate prices (Tidd 294). In order for the small manufacturer has a successful growth it would need to think about what innovation will benefit the business and consumers. The company would need to think about not only lower prices but also how to provide a different product innovation that would spark consumer’s interest. Zara did just that exactly the company focused on everything from lower cost, providing a different product and kept up to date with all of the latest fashion to be on top of everyone else. They accomplished this by maintaining a solid group of people that helped them grow and become more flexible for the manufacturing of their products. In order for the small clothing manufacturer succeed they must emulate a huge variety of products and provide consumer exactly the product innovation that they required similar to that of Zara and Benetton. It’s extremely important that the small clothing manufacturer assimilate exactly what Zara and Benetton did to succeed. Take full advantage of technology and use an advance system and software with product innovation and provide choices to your consumers. The business will have to improve and assume the international trade to offset all the costs by providing a larger variety of products to the consumer. If the small clothing manufacturer does exactly what Zara and Benetton have done then it would have great success in the textile world. References Bessant, J., & Tidd, J. (2011).
