With the pandemic of both Covid-19 and œDefund the police near their peak moments, law enforcement agencies around the United States of America are hitting economical roadblocks. One particular agency that is experiencing this phenomenon is the Los Angeles Police Department. I will go deeper into detail about this difficult time within the agency by summarizing a news article provided by ABC News. I will also provide information pertaining to the type of budget that the Los Angeles Police Department uses. Additionally, I will take a closer look at the challenges faced by leaders in the article in working through the budget issues.
