Throughout a companys life, they need to improvise, adapt, and overcome in order to stay relevant in the changing economy. In this scenario, the company has shown exponential growth, therefore many of its processes and software are outdated. These need to be addressed in order to adapt to the size of the companys current state. The organizational life cycle model is the better approach for this scenario. This company has been around for over a decade, and it can be assumed it has completed phase 1 of the organizational life cycle which is creative expansion. Phase 2 of the organizational life cycle model is to experience directional expansion, which should be to make changes to the leadership, and elaboration of employees. It has grown from 1 million in sales to 100 million, which shows that it has experienced some growth and creativity. Moving forward, the company needs to acquire new and updated equipment, and improve employees by incentivizing them to improve processes. After these phases, they will enter phase 3, expansion through delegation, realigning the companys employees with the goals of the company.
