Type of Employee Assessment Tools Used in this Organization The on-boarding process at Dollar General is extensive there are many different assessment tests that are needed before the hiring process can move forward. To start there is a Sales assessment test that evaluates ones knowledge of sales and sales practices. The customer service test allows for ones knowledge of customer service aptitude and if the prospective person has the personality to do customer service as not all people are prepared for customer service. Dollar General has many different positions that include cashier, stockers, store, and district manager. While on-boarding the prospective client takes these test to show they are able to learn quickly about how the stores are running and making sure their demeanor matches the companies values in order to thrive.
