[10] Plato was an Athenian philosopher who founded the Platonist school of thought. He had many ideas about love and desire. 3 Briefly give two views of love expressed by Plato. [2] 4 Assess how far you feel that Plato’s views on restraining desire would have been accepted by his contemporary audience.
