Objective: The main objective of this lab is to examine and calculate the force acting on an object moving in a uniform circular motion which are centripetal forces. This was done by utilizing Newt... on’s Second Law and the acceleration of the object while observing and comparing mass, velocity, and radius of the circle, then, comparing it to a measured experimental value determined from the experiment. Experimental Data: Runs 1-3 Constant radius r = 0.2000 m Total hanging mass m tot = 0.9000 kg Mass of the bob = 0.3495 kg TABLE 1 Trial # Period T, (s) Stand.
