I am going to be talking about a rare illness is progeria, also known as "Benjamin Button," disease. This disease causes rapid aging, especially of the cardiovascular system( Ungvarsky & Oberleitner,2016). Progeria, or Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome (HGPS), is a rare, fatal genetic condition of childhood with striking features resembling premature aging inside and out (NORD,2021). Children with this disease struggle through everyday life, and so do their families.
