Transition into the Professional Nursing Role As we near the final weeks of the final semester at Chamberlain college of nursing, there are various steps that we need to consider as we prepare for g... raduation. For instance, we need to ensure that we obtain our license, seek employment, and transit successfully into the clinical practice. Graduation has a lot of mixed emotions for students especially when transitioning to become a registered nurse (Lubinska-Welch et al., 2016). After graduation, I will seek employment in the state of Arizona. I currently reside in Phoenix. Holistic Life Balance The well-being of nurses is important in ensuring that they maintain a balance between their life and their work. According to Locke and Lees (2017), nurses should participate in activities outside their workplace to improve their wellbeing. Some of these activities include engaging in physical exercise, listening to music, and taking nature walks among others. Well-being is associated with creating a balance between personal and work life. Nurses must understand how to transit from work to spending time with their families. As a new nurse graduate, various stressors will face me at the place of work such as a busy working schedule.
