According to the Board of nursing the applicant must submit an application to the nursing regulatory body in which the applicant wishes to get licensed in. (NCSBN.org). In the state of Connecticut the regulatory body is the Department of Health. Once this writer graduates from the nursing program, the writers transcripts should be sent to the Connecticut Department of Health. Before, submitting an application to the Department of Health the writer must register with Pearson VUE to take the NCLEX-RN examination. The wonderful aspect of nursing is that there are so many job opportunities in different fields. As of now, the writer is interested in seeking employment in an emergency department, ICU, oncology, or medical-surgical unit. The writer will begin the search by using a job search engine.
