The importance of fully embracing Value Based Purchasing is evident throughout the organization. In order to continue to be at the forefront with healthcare delivery within our area, initiatives must be implemented. Three departments have been identified that will move forward with more involved VBP initiatives. These are the nursing department, surgical department and financial department.
