Nursing educators are included in these changes. Nurse educators must prepare student nurses for the levels of technology and change currently present in the profession. By using newly available technology to assist in teaching, nurse educators can ensure that future nurses are well-prepared for future practice. A. Adaptive Learning Technologies Adaptive learning technology (ALT) can be defined as educational technologies that provide personalized feedback and support in real-time base on the students interactions with the technology [ CITATION EdS16 \l 1033 ]. While this definition provides a basis for evaluating a tool to discern whether or not it is considered a true adaptive technology, many different formats, platforms, and uses can be included in the term [ CITATION EdS16 \l 1033 ].
