Project management is all about finding the most efficient and cost- effective route, while still accomplishing the companys goals. It is the project managers duty to assist in the budgeting and planning of the project and once this is done, the project manager also needs to manage and control the progress of the project. Many different aspects come into play while managing a project. A project manager must be able to look at the bigger picture and put the needs of the project over their personal needs. To be an effective leader it is important to set measurable and achievable goals. I have also learned that to be an effective manager or leader you must also adapt to change adequately and be able to properly motivate your team to achieve the goals desired. A good manager will need to be able to take advantage of their resources, while still effectively managing their team. A good project manager will have great communication skills and good problem-solving skills to handle any obstacles that may come up during the duration of the project. 2.
