The city c... onsists of four diverse neighborhoods. Industrial Heights has approximately 38,850 people, Casper Park District has 352,643 residents, Acer Tech Center consists of 168,390 citizens, and Nightingale Square where 103,974 people reside. The racial make up of Sentinel City is 80.6% Whites, 10.4% Blacks, 3.7% Asian, 2% American Indian, and 0.2% Pacific Islander. The average household income in the city is about $49,000 with 18.9% of the population living below the poverty level. Nightingale Square has the highest household income of the four neighborhoods consisting of $269,550(Healthcare Learning Innovations, 2018). Neighborhood Safety Assessment While visiting Sentinel City I noticed a number of safety hazards. People riding bikes without helmets, garbage in the streets with rats and rodents in and out of the trash, stray dogs, and just a general look of despair within the city. There was a hostage situation at the ABC Daycare. Six adults and thirty children were being held hostage. I also noticed a large cloud of air pollution from the local factory, noise from construction, andloud voices from the protestors in front of City Hall. There were abandoned buildings with boarding over the windows as well as abandoned vehicles on the side of the road, some with windows broken out.
