DISCUSSION WEEK 1.docx 1. Why/How can the data collected in polls and studies lead us to incorrect conclusions?  If the data is incorrect or bias, then it can lead people to wrong conclusions. Bu... t if the data collection polls are true and correct, then people can make the decision correctly. An excellent example of this is the presidential polls. œOn the one hand, American voters are blinded to important facts because of the dominating focus on national polls in presidential elections. On the other hand, doing the right thing by switching that focus to statewide polling would subject voters to data that™s more likely to be incorrect. It™s the blind leading the blind. (Novak, 2019). 2. What impacts do you think polls have or have had on you? In other words, do you pay attention to polls? In my experience, I always pay attention to polls or surveys, especially in a customer survey standpoint. When I was working as a customer service clerk before, my job is to give a survey form to different customers with just questions about the service, cleanliness, personnel, and overall satisfaction. Based on the results from the customers, the company can make the adjustment and improvement they needed based on the customers. 3.
