DQ WEEK5.docx DQ WEEK5 In this final week of SOC/110, you will learn how to solve problems and make decisions as a team. You will leverage what you have learned about communication, leadership, ... conflict resolution, and team dynamics to help the teams you work on make the best decisions they can.   ¨ You might have experience making decisions and solving problems on your own, but these tasks are quite different when working in a group. What would you need to consider when making decisions and solving problems in a group or team? How will you apply what you learned in this class when presented with a problem or decision in a team setting? Include examples from each week™s main topics.  In psychology group thinking is considered one of the worst decision and problem solving strategies. When making decisions within a group or team one must take the problem into perspective, meaning truly understand what is being ask. Contemplating if the answer is trivial or does it require research or expert knowledge. Also considering how much of the team or group must be involved in order to make a fair decision. Ensuring that I have understand effective communication, common goal, identifying good team members, conflict resolution techniques, and effective leadership.  Week 1 identifying team verse groups, knowing the difference between the two terms allow me to set obtainable goals.
