After explaining the values reviewed in the Rokeach values survey, I feel that I had taken into consideration these values the foundation for personal leadership. We™ll cover four perspectives: Societal, Intrapersonal, Organizational and Individual. We'll discuss about the values of Respect, Honesty, Love, and Equality. Respect From the individual perspective, any value could top this list, but I believe that respect deserves to occupy this position. Respecting our family, our friends, whom we do not know, cultures that seem different to us, those who are different creates an environment of communication and peace. This value encompasses all spheres of life, starting with what we owe to ourselves and our fellow men, up to what we owe to the environment, living beings and nature in general, without forgetting to follow laws to social norms, to the memory of our ancestors, and to the place where we were born. A good leader should not be measured only by what he can achieve or contribute to the company, he must be another member of the team. Here is where respect plays a vital role. A leadership position does not give us the right to do what we want, but rather gives us the obligation to make decisions, and that does not mean that we are always right.
