In order for the students to reach the appropriate standard, they must be taught in steps because they are on ID IEPs, and it is vital that they learn all steps at their instructional levels, rather than at a level above what they are able to do. This lesson plan will focus on beginning numeracy in preparation of simple addition and subtraction.
