Parents send their children to school believing they will be at the top of the class in their learning abilities. IDEA, Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, was created to ensure all students were able to receive FAPE, Free Appropriate Public Education, if they qualify for the program. This program offers students with disabilities the help they need to receive the same kind of education that students without disabilities receive.
