Businesses must use risk management strategies to help them to predict potential threats or events that could cause harm to the company or cause them to lose money. This paper will describe the enterprise IT risks. Next, it will discuss an assessment of enterprise exposure to each risk. Then it will provide a summary of the highest priority risky high-level procedures to mitigate and manage the most likely risks. Lastly, this paper will talk about a high-level procedure that addresses business resumption and disaster recovery. Enterprise IT Risks œRisk management is the process of identifying, assessing and controlling threats to an organization's capital and earnings (Rouse, 2019, para. 1). Enterprise risks are risks that could initiate losses or put the ability of the company to operate properly in danger, which is not always as simple to recognize (Whitsett, 2020). Different types of risks are around that can be a threat to the company such as viruses, malicious attacks, hardware failure, and human error (Business Queensland, 2017). Viruses are like a human virus it can be shared.
