Out of this Nightingale Square has 103,974 people, Acer Tech Center has 168,390 people, Casper Park District has 352,643 people, and Industrial Heights has 24,672 people. The median household income for Sentinel City is $49,091 and 18.9% of people live below the poverty level. (Sentinel City 2019) ï‚·Demographic Assessment: (See attached form) I used the demographic assessment tool in the needs assessment summary by determine how many citizens there was in each neighborhood, what the medium house hold income for each neighborhood was and the percentage of uninsured people in each neighborhood. In Sentinel city there were many stray animals that were surrounding buildings. These animals were in search of food and they were eating out of the trash bags that were placed outside of the buildings. There were several cars that were broken down on the side of the streets. These vehicles had busted windows and flattened tires. Several people I talked with in the community used drugs. Most of them homeless and they did whatever drugs were available to them. 16% of common arrest were related to substance abuse. The most common crimes throughout the city are bicycle theft, property damage, shop lifting, and drunk and disorderly conduct.
