American society. Many believe that the social media is communicating the affects that are left from the immigration problems of the government. How is society and the social media helping the issues with illegal immigration in a diverse country that has become divided? How does the diverse populations impact the social issues and the psychology of diverse populations? Whenever illegal immigrants, illegal alien, and undocumented immigrant/migrant is used, they are used in the same context to each other and interchangeably. Meaning, Illegal immigration is when one relocates to another country with the intention of staying, and not going through the proper channels to do so legally. Defining illegal immigration is not enough to make positive or negative contributions to solving the problem within the immigration system in getting certain immigrants to go through legal routes to become legal citizens. This becomes a problem when those that are undocumented have no sponsors or family in the United States. Those that are undocumented are believed to have taken jobs and been given preferential treatment for services from the state and local governments and also bring with them the issues of a rise in crime in all regions of the country.
