She likes her friends and is passionate about cooking. At just 16 years old, Kyla has set her mind on attending culinary school, once she has graduated from high school. On the weekends she babysits her niece and nephew and saves the money to put towards her schooling. Kyla is fortunate to benefit from close family relations, especially her mother, but the pressures of being an older sibling while transitioning from adolescence to young adulthood can propose its own set of challenges.
