Capel... la University Brief Overview of Survey The overall goal of this study was to determine how many individuals, over the age of 18 years old, currently have consumer debt in the United States. Going even deeper, this survey hoped to determine if age, gender, or race played a part in whether the individual had consumer debt and if that affected the amount of debt they maintained. Population: This survey was strictly confined to the United States of America™s current 50 states. Ages would range from 18-75+. Genders, such as male and female, and race, such as white, black, and Hispanic, were included in the population. Sampling Technique: I used a stratified sample approach for this poll. Stratification is the process of dividing individuals in a population into similar subgroups before sampling. I can better grasp the differences by splitting the population into groups based on age, race, and gender. Survey: I used an internet platform to conduct my survey. This gave me the advantage of reaching a big number of people across a long distance.
