Based Decision The assignment is an extension of the previous assignments relating to target behavior and trying to establish an effective treatment plan to help reduce Roman™s self-injurious behaviors and head-banging. The first assignment focused on identifying and defining the target behavior. The second assignment determined that functional communication and differential reinforcement of alternative behavior (DRA) could be the most effective treatment interventions to help in reducing Roman™s challenging behaviors. In this assignment, a plan will be developed to successfully measure, help generalize and identify intervention strategies to help with behavior change for Roman. Measurement Measurements are important in the realm of science and data driven fields. The field of Applied Behavior Analysis uses evidence-based practices that help show the progress that the clients make during treatments and interventions (Cooper et al., 2020). Data is very important to help justification and quality of treatment for the clients (Cooper et al., 2020). Data ensures that the treatment being applied is effective and if a new intervention needs to be implemented.
