Quantitative Methodologies Quantitative methodologies should explain how the study will be achieved. Quantitative methods have four categories survey, correlational, causal-comparative, and experimental research (Apuke, 2017). Surveying is used the most in quantitative studies. Some survey research strategies are surveys, polls, questionnaires, and sampling (Babbie, 2016). Quantitative Data Quantitative research has two methods probability and non-probability sampling. Probability is used to filter through the information to produce a sample. Candidates are usually randomly picked for this type of study. Non-probability selection is when the person researching knowledge and experience is used to build the research model. The researcher is involved in this research type, so there is no equal chance of being selected. The second step of quantitative data collection is the analysis of information.
