People are trying to decide whether or not its worth going with a Bluetooth network or a wireless network. Honestly, Ive never seen a Bluetooth network put into place but its not impossible. I believe wireless network is going to be more efficient for a cheaper buck. Bluetooth technologies allow for short range traffic and communication between Bluetooth enabled devices. When you hear Bluetooth normally you think of a Bluetooth headset for your phone, cell phone, or even a gaming console. A lot of technologies now days are utilizing Bluetooth technology such as iPhones, Android, Google Phones, Windows Phones, Xbox, PlayStation, Laptops, Desktops, All-in-ones, I can go on. There are Bluetooth keyboards and mice for iPads. There are Bluetooth headsets for all sorts of connections across many different platforms. We can even use Bluetooth technology today to connect to our cars. We can stream movies and music and print jobs over this technology. Using a Bluetooth based network would be viable in a small business. Even though there are only a few devices compared to hundreds, there are still known issues with Bluetooth devices such as Android devices connecting to more than three devices and it can cause the devices to never connect again or they constantly reconnect.
