Fitt’s Law Lab Report 6/27/2016 Kinesiology 361 Method Equations: 1. MT (myself paper) = 74.714 + 98.796 ID This equation represents my personal data for the paper and pencil task. The slope i... s 98.796. The intercept or the movement time at ID = 0 is 74.714 2. MT (myself computer) = 134.74 + 281.04 ID This equation represents my personal data for the computer condition. The slope is 281.04. The intercept is 15.128. 3. MT (group paper) = 15.128 + 118.92 ID This equation shows the group data for the pen and paper condition with the slope being 118.92 and the intercept or movement time at ID = 0 of 15.128. 4. MT (group computer) = 317.98 + 304.73 ID Finally this equation show the group data for the computer condition with a slope of 304.73 and an intercept or movement time of ID of 317.98. This graph shows my individual data. The x axis graphs index of difficulty while the y axis graphs movement time in milliseconds. The equations of the best fit lines can be seen above. These equations show a linear relationship between movement time and index of difficulty for both the mouse and pencil conditions. You can see that the movement time for the mouse task became harder than the pencil task because the data points and the best fit line are higher the more difficult the task becomes. [Show More]
