The largest being that once I have a BSN, I will be able to pursue an MSN, which is my overall long- term academic goal. However, there were also several additional reasons to pursue a BSN. It would enable me to work in a variety of settings as opposed to just the ER, increase my overall academic knowledge, and help increase my earnings.
