Anchor standard 1 Grade Level: Kindergarten Learning Objective: Students will learn the meaning of rules, why they are important Description of the learning objective: teacher will start by explaining what the lesson was going to be, she will be started by saying why it is an important aspect of everyone out there, she then follows with saying the lesson is on rules. Teacher will then be asked students if they know what œrules are. Then continue on with rules from the government, rules in the classroom, and etc. Then had a book and read it out loud, and ask questions before she started the activity, pertaining to rules. Instructional strategy: Will use Q&A strategy while teacher explains what œrules are. Also, will incorporate a reading book that goes along the lesson plan. Reflection: The activity that will be used for this lesson it will enhance students thinking, while they also applying real life experiences. œThe visual and performing arts help children reach content understanding while being immersed in the creation of an art form.
