However, as a manager working in a health care facilityyou must be knowledgeable on how you can track the outcomes and how you can improve the quality and safety, even the collection of data will then reveal the outcomes of improvements and how the quality was affected by those improvements, also it is the managers function to organize data in a way that the outcomes would be evident when presenting it to others. Managers must also know how external and internal standards would impact the quality, also the role of continuous improvement and technology in quality and safety and how to plan for employee development in quality and safety. The Role of Continuous Improvement Continuous Quality Improvement is an organizational process in which employees identify and address problems in their work processes (Buchbinder, Shanks, & Kite, 2021). While doing some research I saw that there are five elements of Continuous Quality Improvement which are the process focus, the customer focus, the data-based decision making, the employee empowerment, and the organization wide-impact.
