When building a team its vital to select people that showcase an array of skills, as a team will encounter several hurdles and depend upon every attribute from all team members. Any business proposal that would require different functional areas of an organization to work as a team, would need as much thought in selecting its team members as the proposal itself. Selecting members of a team is a crucial first step in completing the overall goal along with constant evaluation of the team™s performance. The Functional Areas to Include within an Organizational Team When selecting employees for a team, the right set of skills and interpersonal attributes are fundamental building blocks that will aid in the development of a cohesive and successful team. An organization putting together a team whose goal is to develop a proposal of a new business model and growth plan, needs to be precise in what areas of the business the employees are selected.
