His wide passed away about a month ago and her loss has been extremely difficult for him. He is grieving her absence and through the grief, Sam is experiencing decreased sleep and appetite, increased crying spells, and increased feelings of loneliness. Sam reports feeling mostly numb and struggling to adapt to his new routine without his wife. Sam™s children live out of state and country, so he is not able to spend time with them to help work through and overcome his feelings. His children are concerned about his mental and emotional state and have encouraged him to seek counseling. Allen seeks counseling to help his process the grief of his wide passing and with a desire to move forward with his life.
