Finding the right company to take control of PacificCoast Technology meant that Ms. Gomez valued my research, opinion and the ability to put the right company at the front of the line. With Ms. Gomez™s guidelines in hand, I knew I had my work cut out for me. I research hundreds of companies before finding the golden nugget, Stitch Fix. This company was founded by Katrina Lake in 2011 and by 2017 she had taken her company to the next level, publicly traded on the stock market. According to the article by Moira Forbes, How Stitch Fix™s Katrina Lake Built A $3 Billion Business, Lake knew that her success was due to the hard work along with the fact the she œunderstands the upside of being underestimated (Forbes, 2018). With perseverance and dedication Lake œbuilt a $3 billion-dollar shopping business by revolutionizing the traditional shopping experience Forbes, 2018). After researching the owner of Stitch Fix, Ms. Lake, I found that she and Ms. Gomez had very similar attributes and because of that they would make a great team. At this point I had to dig into the dynamics of the organization to learn how each company would complement the other from a financial standpoint.
