The Certified Health Education Specialist will be a resource for individual customers, families, and communities for health education programs. Health Education Specialists work one-on-one with patients or their families. As a health educator, you will be tasked with helping patients understand their health insurance workings and provide them with outside resources. You will also be responsible for teaching patients more about their diagnoses and about the necessary treatments they may have to undergo. Health educators also help organize health screenings, such as blood pressure checks and classes on installing a car seat correctly. They also create programs to train medical staff to interact more effectively with patients (Health educator or community health worker 2020). Responsibilities / Task ï‚·Create and dispense health education resources, such as reports, bulletins, etc., to discuss significant public health concerns.
