It will target trauma within childhood (up to 18 years old) and sexual violence within adulthood (18 years old and above). The assessment tools that would be used would be the Sexual Deviance Scale and the Sexual Violence Scale. All races/ethnicities, and income status are being explored. Furthermore, it is important to understand the psychosocial history of participants to see if any unlawful behaviors were exposed within early childhood and then carried through adulthood. Scope and Number of Sources The questions/components this writer would like to look into would be if minorities correlated higher scores on the sexual deviant/violence scales. Another component to look into would be if males vs. females have a higher level of re-victimization, substance abuse history, incarceration, and increase in domestic violence.
